“I cried a river over you…” (restored)

Long time since I posted in “Monday Melody” category.

Cry me a river” is one of my beloved songs and my favourite version belongs to 60′-70’s style Canadian singer-songwriter and actor –  Michael Bublé

The original version belongs to the Goddess – Ella Fitzgerald

Later it was also performed by Susan Boyle – Scottish singer who came to international public attention when she appeared  on reality TV programme “Britain’s Got Talent” 2009, but this song was recorded much earlier, in 1999 for a charity CD.

Hope you’ve enjoyed :) )

Now you say you’re lonely
You cried the long night through
Well, you can cry me a river
Cry me a river
I cried a river over you
Now you say you’re sorry
For being so untrue
Well, you can cry me a river
Cry me a river
I cried a river over you
You drove me,
Nearly drove me out of my head
While you never shed a tear
Remember?
I remember all that you said
Told me love was to plebeian
Told me you were through with me
Now you say you love me
Well, just to prove you do
Cry me a river
Cry me a river
I cried a river over you
You drove me
Nearly drove me out of my head
While you never shed a tear
Remember?
I remember all that you said
Told me love was to plebeian
Told me you were through with me…
And now you say you love me
Well, just to prove that you do…
Come on! come on!
Cry me a river…
Cry me a river…
I cried a river over you
I cried a river over you…
